This is Tree Frog Harbour House - a gem tucked away in the heart of Galveston. TEN MINUTES from everything in town; it is nestled between a private marina and wetland nature preserves. With three bedrooms, a spacious living room and dining room. Laguna de Oro - Golden Laguna - is truly one of Galveston’s best kept secrets. Enjoy nature and gorgeous sunsets while being conveniently located!
The backyard has a refreshing swimming pool and a spacious fishing deck over a beautiful neighborhood marina. The front yard overlooks a nature preserve where pelicans dive and flamingos wade through waters rich with shrimp and crabs. Watch the sunrise over the water on one side, and set over a golden lagoon on the other.
Large families will feel right at home in this spacious, two-story, three-bedroom home on the water. Whether you are wanting to visit local restaurants or to take advantage of Galveston's fabulous fishing opportunities, this home makes all these things available while still offering a bit of privacy from the bustling tourist population in town!
Fish from the large dock, enjoy the beautiful wetland marsh providing stunning sunset views and a perfect spot for bird watching. Bring a boat and tie up right at the dock. The Laguna is great for fishing. Cool off in the private pool overlooking the water. You can access the Strand area, East End or the Beach in less than 10 minutes by car.

Other things to note
You do have to climb stairs to get to the upper level where all the bedrooms are.
There are people who maintain the property that you might run into during your stay! The landscaping crew comes every week and pest services come regularly. The pool is serviced generally on Tuesday mornings.
We live adjacent to a nature preserve. It is great for bird and wildlife watching and unplugging from the hustle and bustle. We take every precaution to keep pests and animals off the property, but if the occasional bug venturing indoors, or the possibility of encountering raccoons, possums, or snakes in the neighborhood is unacceptable to you, Laguna D’Oro may not be the best vacation spot for you. Otherwise please come enjoy the small-town charm and beauty of Mother Nature, tucked next to these beautiful wetlands.

POOL
Pool hours are 8am-9pm. This neighborhood has many working folks and retirees, so we ask that you respect and honor their neighborhood while you are visiting.
We love that the pool feels like an extension of nature. We have placed it right on the water and under a batch of beautiful bamboo that give you privacy while not loosing the natural beauty around you.
We do have the pool professionally serviced, but because of its proximity to nature, leaves, bugs and other natural things find their way into the pool regularly.

DOCK
We love our large brand new dock and know you will too. 18 ft x 30 ft is plenty of space for everyone to cast a line. This is our favorite spot to drink coffee in the morning while the sunrise bounces off the water. We do not generally use it for boating, but you are welcome to tie off if that suits you!

- No parties or events allowed.
- Please respect the noise curfew. Jamaica Beach is a vacation community with many families. Following city ordinances, a strict 10pm-7am quiet hours are enforced.
- One dog allowed. Must be under 40 lbs. Dog must be house broken and crate trained. DOGS CANNOT BE LEFT ON PROPERTY ALONE, UNLESS PROPERLY CRATED. Please clean all pet waste.
-We love our furry babies and to travel with them. However we have to keep our property safe for future guests as well, including those with animal allergies. For this purpose, we must charge an additional $100 cleaning fee for a hypo-allergenic cleaning if their are any animals brought onto the property.
- No smoking allowed indoors. If you smoke outdoors please do so more than 10 ft from entrances. A $200 cleaning fee will be added if smoking of any substance is found indoors.
- When coming in from the beach we ask that everyone rinses off in our private outdoor shower before showering indoors. Sand is very tough on the plumbing. Also, please rinse and allow any beach toys or equipment before replacing them in the house.
- Please leave the heating or air system running even when you are out to help with moisture control.
- Suitable for toddlers and children under 12. We have provided infant safe outlets, a safety gate on the balcony, and child locks under the sink cabinet. But please do check decorations and other items to raise anything not suitable to your age child.
- No unregistered guests allowed.
- Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms.
- Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. You will be assigned a unique entrance code to access the property. For all our guests' and cleaners' safety, these codes will only be activated five minutes before check in time and will stop working 5 minutes after check out time.
- Please take care of the furnishings. You are responsible for any damages.
- Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
- Please rinse and place used dishes in the dish washer.
- Please take the trash out before you leave. Do not put trash in the trashcan if the lid will not close. This will attract raccoons. If you have more trash than fits in receptacles, please contact us to help remove. Trash service is on Monday and Thursday.
- No illegal substances allowed on the premises.
- Do not grill under balcony.
Cameras
Exterior cameras only are at each entrance, both for guests' and property's security. Cameras are not monitored but are motion activated and recording. Non-recording, decibel monitoring devices are in common spaces.
